Function: Operations

Inviting applications for the role of a Logistics Shipment Planner with French

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with L1 Specialists for day to day operations and exceptions
  • Ordering validation
  • Combining orders and validating with L1 org
  • Executing Bulk run in UTMS and shipment creation
  • Creating and execute SPOT shipments and work with L1 org for rate negotiations and cost approvals if required
  • Planning and execute rush/express shipments and work with L1 org for rate negotiations and cost approvals if required
  • Supporting carriers with slot booking and shipment tracking
  • Supporting financial settlement process by opening shipment validations and opening claims post FBR
  • Generating reports which aid performance monitoring

 

Qualifications

  • University degree (min Bachelor)/logistics can be an advantage
  • Fluency in spoken and written French (B2/C1)
  • Inter-mediate in spoken and written English
  • Service related experience
  • Good interpersonal skills: communication, influencing
  • Strong analytical skills required
  • Creativity, passion and engagement
  • Team-working oriented
  • Energetic and pressure resistance
