Technical Team Lead - Engineering Data Management (EDM)

Key Responsibilities
  • Day to day leadership of the EDM Data Operations team, including employee development, budget management, establishing and achieving SMART goals, SLA attainment, internal customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor business and data quality metrics to drive continuous improvement of EDM processes to support Rockwell Automation’s global operations
  • Collaboration in the development of data localization processes, tools, and techniques to address legal, regulatory, and financial requirements.
  • Effective communication of complex business scenarios, concepts, and technical information to all levels of the organization.
  • Driving productivity improvements within the EDM Data Operations team.
  • Resource planning to support new and changing business requirements.
  • Managing employee development and cross-training.
  • Collaborating across organizations.
  • Managing global projects
  • Position requires minimal (<5%) domestic and/or international travel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • SAP master data management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams and projects
  • Minimum of five years of related experience
  • Data analysis skills
Desired Qualifications
  • Understanding of end-to-end business processes (ex: product lifecycle management, market to quote, integrated supply chain, finance and control, engineer to order, configure to order, etc.)
  • Experience working with a global team
  • PMP Certification (Project Management)
  • Green Belt/Black Belt - Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Computer skills (SAP ECC, Power BI, Excel, Access/SQL Server, Windchill PLM, SQL Query, Winshuttle, AgilePoint NX)
